  • A central hub for visitors to book WA's attractions and experiences
  • New centre designed using local materials and featuring Aboriginal artwork from local artists
  • Supports the Cook Government's commitment to diversify the Western Australian economy so it remains strongest in the nation

The doors are officially open at the newly-located Western Australia Visitor Centre, delivering a world-class central hub for tourists visiting Perth.

The new Perth Station location is set in a central, high-traffic area with easy public transport access.

The upgraded facility provides a modern, engaging space for travellers to plan and book their Western Australian adventure.

Visitors can access digital resources alongside personalised trip-planning services, with new consultation areas and a wide range of brochures designed to make navigating WA's destinations easier than ever.

Aligning with the Cook Government's 10-year tourism strategy, the new Western Australia Visitor Centre is a central hub that embodies WA's destination brand, honouring its unique culture and heritage, and encouraging visitors to stay longer and explore further.

Proudly designed by WA company State28 Interiors, the Visitor Centre predominantly uses materials sourced within WA and features a striking hand-painted mural by local Aboriginal artist Jade Dolman.

Visitor centres in WA play a significant role in shaping traveller behaviour, directly generating an estimated $261 million for the visitor economy and indirectly supporting up to $741 million in visitor spend each year.

This new centre is just one example of the Cook Government's commitment to economic diversification, helping attract out-of-State visitors and grow the State's visitor economy to boost local business and jobs.
