The Wallabies return to Optus Stadium this Sunday, September 5, for Perth's 2021 Bledisloe Cup test, hoping to recreate the results of Perth's inaugural Bledisloe in 2019, which saw the team achieve a sensational upset win over the All Blacks.
Deputy Premier Roger Cook officially welcomed the Wallabies to Western Australia this afternoon when the team also announced its line-up to take on the All Blacks for the only Bledisloe Cup test to be played on Australian soil this year.
As well as being the final match in the three-game Bledisloe Cup series, the Perth match doubles as the Wallabies' second game of the 2021 Rugby Championship series contested by Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Argentina.
Only limited tickets remain for the match, which was secured for WA by the State Government, through Tourism WA, in partnership with Rugby Australia.
Broadcast of the game will put WA on display to millions of viewers in Australia and around the globe, including in the United Kingdom, Japan and New Zealand.
Wallabies players have also promoted some of the State's popular tourism attractions in the lead-up to the game, posting images of Rottnest Island's crystal-clear waters and famous friendly quokkas on their social media accounts.
The team has also thrown its weight behind the State's 'Roll Up For WA' campaign, with 55 players and staff receiving their second COVID-19 vaccination at Claremont Showgrounds last week.
WA hosted its inaugural Bledisloe Cup match in 2019, creating a record sporting attendance for Optus Stadium with more than 61,000 people witnessing the Wallabies win.

"It also means sports-loving Western Australians can fill the stands, creating a fantastic live atmosphere for the players and for those tuning in from around Australia and the world."
As stated by Tourism Minister David Templeman:
"This weekend's Bledisloe Cup match puts WA in the spotlight as a tourism destination for the future, with the broadcast of the game attracting millions of viewers around the nation and the world.
"Being Father's Day, it's also a great opportunity for ticket holders to celebrate this occasion and support local tourism operators by treating dad to a meal out or a stay in a city hotel along with experiencing all the action of the game."
As stated by Sport and Recreation Minister Tony Buti:
"The Wallabies have been great ambassadors for the game while in WA - visiting local rugby clubs to share their skills and inspire young players.
"The enthusiastic uptake of tickets for what is only the second Bledisloe Cup fixture ever to be hosted in the West, shows that this sport has a strong future in our State.
