Detectives from Child Abuse Squad are seeking information in relation to an incident that occurred on Monday 11 September 2023, in Warnbro.
About 2.40pm, a 12-year-old girl was reportedly walking along the corner of Axminster and Exeter Street when a man exited his parked vehicle.
The man approached the girl on foot and grabbed her shirt.
A brief struggle ensued before the girl managed to break free from his grip and run away.
The man did not pursue the victim and is believed to have returned to his vehicle before leaving the area.
The vehicle is described as a silver or grey coloured sedan.
