Warren Fahey presents 'Dead and Buried'

Hawkesbury Library Service is looking forward to hosting social historian and author, Warren Fahey AM for an informative and entertaining discussion about his new book 'Dead and Buried', on Wednesday, 7 September from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.

'Dead and Buried' looks at the curious history of Sydney's three earliest European burial grounds.

Warren will delve into the famous and infamous - buried at The Old Burial Grounds, Devonshire Street/Sandhills Cemetery, and the Grand Rookwood Necropolis.

Warren Fahey is a cultural historian and Australian folklore legend. As well as authoring a number of books he is an avid collector, actor, artist, songwriter and performer of traditional Australian folk music.

This entertaining talk will be held at Central Library, 300 George Street Windsor and anyone interested in history is welcome. The event will cost $5 per person and will include light refreshments.
