As part of Council's commitment and ongoing improvement to water quality, Council will be undertaking works to lay new water main at Ellesmere St, beginning Monday 21st March.
These works involve excavation, trenching, pipe laying, and restoration works which are scheduled from Monday 21/03/2022. The work is expected to take two to three works, depending on weather conditions.
Killards Infrastructure are the contractors who have been engaged for these works. There will be no impact on town water supply during these works. Residents and businesses who will be affected by the works will have been notified by Killards.
Traffic control will be in place for any partial car park road closures and detours needed for the works as well as any pedestrian management requirements (where applicable). However if you require specific assistance please speak to the traffic control officer or the site supervisor for the works.
