Bureau of Meteorology is predicting showers and a chance of thunderstorm later daoy.

Rain is predicted to hang around for another week. Potential for some minor flash flooding and further road closures due to the already saturated ground.

Call the Community Recovery Hotline on 1800 173 349 or contact your local emergency relief provider or counselling service▸ LISTEN if you are experiencing emotional stress or personal financial hardship from the recent rainfall and flooding event.

Financial Assistance

Eligible individuals and families who have been impacted by the floods can claim financial assistance through:

Clean up and waste removal

All Waste and Recycling Centres are open as normal.

City crews are working in impacted communities to assist with clean-up.

As more reports of damage come in we'll continue to adjust our response.

Please continue to stay safe during clean up.
