In just over two weeks on 28-29 October, pharmacy assistants will be coming together for long-awaited Pharmacy Assistant National Conference (PA Conference) in Brisbane.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, this is the first time in two years that the PA Conference has been held and there is much for attendees to look forward to!
Pharmacy assistants have access to a jam-packed two-day educational program with sessions ranging from eczema management in infants to the evolution of blood pressure management to how to get the balance right between optimum performance and burn out. Full registration and Friday delegates will also have access to the Quality Care Pharmacy Program (QCPP refresher training workshop, or alternatively tickets to this workshop can be purchased separately.
Attendees will hear from the likes of Ashleigh Hutson, 2021 Pharmacy Assistant of the Year; Steven Bradbury OAM, Olympian; and Brad Butt, Founder, Men's Health Downunder.
Another educational opportunity for delegates is the sold out 30-stand trade exhibition. A variety of pharmacy industry organisations from across the country will be showcasing the latest innovation in products and services at the trade exhibition.

The Welcome Reception kicks off the social aspect of the PA Conference, providing a relaxed environment to meet with suppliers in the trade exhibition, make new contacts and reconnect with peers. Wrapping up the PA Conference is the much-anticipated black and white themed Conference Dinner. With a three-course meal, drinks and live covers band it is a social event not to be missed. The winner of the 2022 Pharmacy Assistant of the Year Award will be announced at the Conference Dinner. Like the Welcome Reception, Conference Dinner tickets can be packaged with Saturday day registration or can be purchased separately.
