The Perth Wildcats are set to sport orange socks at RAC Arena next Friday night (21 November) in support of 16 Days in WA during their home clash with the Tasmania JackJumpers.

The wardrobe change marks the second occasion the NBL powerhouse has thrown their support behind the Cook Government's awareness raising campaign which calls for an end to violence against women.

Prevention of Family and Domestic Violence Minister Jessica Stojkovski has praised the Wildcats' leadership and is calling on the Red Army to incorporate a flash of orange into their own match day attire at the Jungle.

The 2025 campaign formally commences on Tuesday, 25 November with the theme Stopping Family and Domestic Violence: Play your Part.

It sends a clear message violence has no part in our society, communities, or in the family home.

For the first time, this year's campaign focuses men and boys, calling on them to champion respect for women in support of a community where women are safe, valued, and respected.

In addition to the orange sock initiative, the Wildcats have dropped a brand new episode of their Wildcast (podcast) series today, which features an interview with Minister Stojkovski talking about the importance of the campaign with hosts Sunday Dech, Daniel 'Leachy' Leach, and Jaron Rillie.

The latest Wildcast episode is available here .

As stated by Prevention of Family and Domestic Violence Minister Jessica Stojkovski:

"I am so excited the Wildcats are wearing orange in support of 16 Days in WA.

"I'm a huge Wildcats fan and I can't wait to head to the Jungle to celebrate a great cause together with the Red Army.

"It was a thrill to join Sunday, Leachy, and Jaron Rillie to chat all thing hoops and 16 Days in WA. The opportunity to reach men and boys where they are is a focus for this year's campaign.

"It recognises we can't end violence without the support of strong, positive male leadership.

"16 Days in WA is part of the Cook Labor Government's response to family and domestic violence, backed by record new investment of over half a billion dollars, with a focus on prevention and safety."

Comments attributed to Perth Wildcats owner Mark Arena:

"We are proud to continue our support for 16 Days in WA by wearing orange socks next Friday night.

"As a family-first club, we want to help play our part in calling out violence against women.

"We urge the Red Army to follow suit with the players and wear orange to the game against the JackJumpers on Friday, 21 November at RAC Arena."
