The Kempsey Shire's coastal waterways are beautiful and a vital part of life for many residents, so it's important to look after them.

Kempsey Shire Council is up to stage 3 of developing a Coastal Management Plan for the Macleay Valley coast and we are asking the community if actions outlined in the draft plan will improve our waterways.

Several key issues and hazards have been identified in the draft including community needs, a changing climate and the risks of development.

So, check out the plan and let us know what you think. Will these actions outlined improve our estuaries, rivers and open coastline?

Complete the survey, or come along to one of our community workshops.
