Windows to the World is back this year once again offering a unique opportunity to take a trip around the globe without leaving the capital.
The 2025 program has officially launched, inviting Canberrans to step inside 20 embassies and high commissions across Canberra to experience international architecture, gardens, culture, and traditions - all in one weekend.
This year's event will take place on the weekend of 18-19 October 2025. Participating embassies and high commissions will open their doors to the public, offering:
- Guided tours
- Cultural performances
- Traditional food and drink
- Interactive displays.
Entry is free, but advance bookings are essential, so Canberrans are encouraged to hop online and register for a ticket early to secure their spot.
As a preview to the main event, Windows to the World at Floriade will take place on Saturday 11 October 2025 at Commonwealth Park. This preview will feature 15 countries showcasing their culture through interactive exhibits, traditional clothing, food, and performances – all part of Australia's biggest celebration of spring.
Windows to the World is delivered by the ACT Government in partnership with Canberra's diplomatic community and continues to be a valued part of the city's major events calendar.
