Central Gippsland Sexual Offence and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives are appealing for witnesses following two sexual assaults in Leongatha earlier this month, Victoria Police say.
Investigators have been told a woman was sexually assaulted on McCartin Street about 1.30pm on 8 March.
Investigators believe a similar incident occurred involving another woman on the same day about 3pm at a bus stop on Bennett Lane.
Investigators would like to speak with anyone who has more information in relation to these incidents.
