A pedestrian has died following a crash in Sydney's south today.
About 6.50pm today (Tuesday 29 April 2025), emergency services were called to King Georges Road, Blakehurst, following reports a crash.
Officers attached to St George Police Area Command attended and found a pedestrian had been hit by a car.
The pedestrian – a woman – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics, however; died at the scene.
She has yet to be formally identified.
The driver – a 28-year-old man – was uninjured and has been taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
A crime scene has been established and investigations commenced by the Crash Investigation Unit into the circumstances of the crash.
Lanes 2 of 3 westbound on King Georges Road, Blakehurst are closed. Motorists are urged to avoid the area. For more information visit www.livetraffic.com.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
