Woman dies after Monarto South crash

A driver has died following a fatal crash at Monarto South earlier this month.

About 7.15am on Friday 12 May, emergency services were called to the South Eastern Freeway, Monarto South after reports a car left the road and crashed into a tree.

The driver, a 29-year-old Murray Bridge woman, was airlifted to the Flinders Medical Centre with life-threatening injuries. Sadly she subsequently died from her injuries.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash are ongoing.

There have been 54 lives lost on SA roads compared to 38 at the same time last year.
