Woman dies after New Year's Eve Moorabool collision

A driver has died following a two-car collision in Moorabool on New Year's Eve.

As a result of the collision, the ute and trailer spun around into an embankment while the Astra veered into a paddock.

The 38-year-old female driver of the Astra was airlifted to hospital with critical injuries and passed away on 2 January.

Her male passenger was airlifted to hospital in a stable condition.

Both the male and female occupant of the ute sustained non-life threatening injuries and have been taken to hospital.
