Woman Dies In Hospital After Derrimut Collision

A 79-year-old woman has died in hospital following a collision in Derrimut earlier this week.

It's believed a blue Toyota Corolla collided with a number of stationary cars at a traffic light on the off ramp of the Western Freeway, on 1 May about 1pm.

The passenger of the Corolla, a 77-year-old St Albans man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the Corolla, a 79-year-old St Albans woman, was taken to hospital however died on 3 May.

There were no other injuries.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
