Woman dies in hospital after Glen Huntly collision

A woman has died following a collision in Glen Huntly on 8 January 2020.

It is understood two vehicles collided about 1pm near the intersection of Neerim Road and Grange Road.

The passenger of one vehicle, a 78-year-old Murrumbeena woman, was transported to hospital where she later died on 17 January.

The driver, an 81-year-old Murrumbeena man, sustained minor injuries.

The driver of the second car, a 22-year-old Hawthorn woman, also sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

She is assisting police with their enquiries and the investigation remains ongoing.
