Woman Found Injured in Bulleen, Police Seek Public Assistance

Police are continuing to investigate after a woman was found with serious injuries in Bulleen on Friday.

Members of the public located the 33-year-old woman on Helene Street about 4pm.

She was found unclothed with bruises and cuts.

Emergency services attended and the woman was taken to hospital in a serious condition.

Investigators have spoken to the woman, but have been unable to ascertain how she ended up on Helene Street or whether she had been assaulted.

It is understood the woman was seen in the vicinity of Templestowe Road shortly before she was located on Helene Street.

Investigators believe a white utility and a person riding a bike were in the area at the time that the woman was discovered.

The driver of the utility is believed to have stopped, got out of his vehicle and spoken to the woman before returning to the ute and driving off.

The bike rider, who was wearing a yellow helmet, may have witnessed something and could provide information that could assist police with their enquiries.

Investigators are also appealing for dashcam footage from anyone else who may have been driving on Templestowe Road, Helene Street or the surrounding area between 3pm and 4pm on Friday, 9 June.
