Woman with dementia missing from Erskineville

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Sydney's Inner West.

Irene Campbell, aged 79, was last seen at a service station on Guildford Road, Guildford, about 10.30pm yesterday (Friday 21 April 2023).

When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Inner West Police District were notified and commenced inquiries to locate her.

Family and police hold concerns for her welfare due to Irene living with dementia and other health conditions.

Irene is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm tall, of large build, with white hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing trousers and a knitted top and may be travelling in a blue Hyundai Venue Station Wagon, with NSW registration YJY-77Y.

Inquiries by police show Irene may have been in the Maroubra area around 12.20am last night.
