Netball is taking centre stage in Jervois, South Australia, thanks to the Albanese Government's $200 million Play Our Way program.
The Jervois Bluds Netball Club received $477,193 to deliver a suite of modern new facilities that will change the way the community plays and experiences netball.
The club now has new showers, accessible toilets, a canteen, storage area, meeting room, umpires' room, baby change area and an undercover training area.
The funding has also helped deliver a verandah covering the full length of the structure, which will provide additional undercover space that will allow fans to root for their team in any weather.
The Play Our Way grant program supports local initiatives and ideas to overcome barriers that women and girls face in participating in sport.
This includes providing safe, inclusive, quality and sustainable facilities, equipment and initiatives to help women and girls to stay involved in sport and physical activity for life.
