During this year's Santos Festival of Cycling the community was encouraged to decorate, celebrate, and share the fun of the event - with prizes to be had!
Adelaide Hills winners took out all the daily prizes on the three days of racing hosted by Adelaide Hills Council, and this week Woodside was awarded the top prize: the overall Santos Best Dressed Town for 2022.
This acknowledgement has won for the community a $500 Peats Soil & Garden Supplies voucher, signed framed jersey, two metal signs promoting the achievement, $1,000 to be spent on a community improvement project or resources of the nominee's choice, as well as the new perpetual winner's trophy with 11 months display rights.
Highly commended by judges for the use of recycled, repurposed, and environmentally friendly handmade creations, Woodside took on the challenge with great results.
On hand to receive their prizes were representatives from the Woodside Commerce Association and Love Woodside, who rallied the community to create an energetic atmosphere for the duration of the event.
