Work started this week on upgrades to the jetty at Bolton Point to construct a new and improved recreational fishing platform.

The works involve replacing jetty joists and decking, and both extending and widening of the jetty surface. The project will also involve the construction of two accessible car parks and new footpaths.

Works started on 24 April, and are expected to be complete in mid-2023.

The project is funded by the Recreational Fishing Trust Program and Council.
