Wounding investigation, Logan Central

Police have declared a crime scene in a street at Logan Central after a 19-year-old man sustained a stab wound to his abdomen overnight (January 13).

Police were called to Mayes Avenue Logan Central just after 11.30pm to reports of a disturbance, and found the man with the wound, immediately applying first aid.

He was subsequently transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Initial investigations indicate two other males may have been involved and left the area on pushbikes.

Officers are appealing to anyone who may have CCTV or dash-camera footage from the area at the time, to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.
