WWE fever has taken over in Western Australia, with WWE superstars touching down in Perth ahead of a blockbuster weekend at RAC Arena.
Among the superstars is WWE legend John Cena, making his final Australian appearance as part of his global 2025 Farewell Tour, who leads a star-studded line-up including AJ Styles, Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, Stephanie Vaquer and many more.
In an Australian-exclusive coup, Perth will host a back-to-back weekend of three iconic WWE events, kicking off with Friday Night SmackDownbefore excitement peaks on Saturday with the headline event, Crown Jewel: Perth, and closing out with Monday Night RAW.
Supported by the Cook Government through Tourism WA, WWE's weekend spectacle is set to bring thousands of visiting fans to Perth and generate millions in visitor spend, providing a significant boost to the local tourism, hospitality and accommodation sectors.
Attracting WWE to Perth is part of the Cook Government's economic diversification strategy to host a year-round calendar of events, draw out-of-state visitors and generating valuable tourism dollars for local businesses and jobs.
Additional WWE activations and fan events will take place in Perth, including:
- a free kick-off event open to the public at Forrest Place in the CBD on Friday, 10 October at 5pm, featuring appearances from WWE superstars including Bronson Reed, Grayson Waller, Rhea Ripley, Seth Rollins and many more;
- a WWE pop-up superstore offering exclusive merchandise will run from Thursday, 9 October to Monday, 13 October in Murray Street Mall;
- a one-kilometre custom lighting trail will guide fans from the merchandise superstore through Yagan Square to RAC Arena, featuring special effects and interactive screens showing AI-powered WWE superstars; and
- the pop-up Netflix Sports Club at the Northbridge Brewing Company on Saturday and Sunday, where fans can enjoy a tailgate-style party with interactive activities and an onsite barber offering WWE-inspired styles.
WWE programming can be seen in more than one billion households worldwide, with Crown Jewel: Perthairing live globally on Netflix, and on ESPN platforms in the United States.
This event follows the success of the WWE Elimination Chamber: Perth in February 2024 which attracted more than 18,200 out-of-state visitors to WA and generated $36.2 million for the State's economy.
The event also set records at the time as the most-attended, most-watched and highest-grossing Elimination Chamber event in WWE history.
