Wyndham Learning Festival returns

The 2022 Wyndham Learning Festival will run from 1 to 7 September and will feature a curated program of 55 events ensuring that all members of the community find a learning event that interests them.

The Wyndham Learning Festival is jointly run in partnership between Wyndham City and the Wyndham Community and Education Centre.

Wyndham City's Deputy Mayor and Learning City portfolio holder, Cr Jasmine Hill said: "The aim of the Festival is to bring people together through learning, motivate the community to try something new and to promote lifelong learning for all age groups."

"With the theme this year of Building a Resilient, Sustainable Wyndham, the Festival encompasses a huge array of events and activities for you to try something new and learn."

The Festival will be a celebration for the community on getting through a challenging time, re-emerging brighter and better, and building on their resilience into the future.

The program highlight this year is the signature event 'WynTalk' on Saturday 3 September from 2pm to 5pm at Wyndham's Encore Events Centre, with ABC presenter Jon Faine interviewing a panel of four local Wyndham residents who will share stories of overcoming adversity, building resilience and ideas on sustainability and caring for our natural environment.

A mini sustainable expo will showcase local organisations as part of the signature WynTalk event.

There are still spots available for events, programs and activities. Registration to run an event is open until 9 July. So, if you have an event or activity that you would like to be included in this year's Wyndham Learning Festival, register now.
