Yarra City Council
Join our Mayor and Councillors for some food and some fun on Saturday 2 May, for the launch of our community advocacy campaign, Yarra Decides.
The state election is a little over 6 months away. So, we're launching a campaign to secure commitments from candidates to deliver what our City needs.
The launch is between 11 am and 1 pm on Saturday 2 May at Annette's Place, River Street, Richmond. There'll be a free sausage sizzle, ice cream and coffee carts and face painting for the kids!
Come and hear about Council's key asks for the City of Yarra, including:
- preserving affordable healthcare services
- upgrading and expanding community infrastructure
- getting access to unused state government land for public open space and kindergarten places, and
- preserving our live music industry.
Together, let's make sure that our local candidates know what's important to the community and what we expect of them.
