Young People Take On World If They Understand Purpose

Tomsk State University opened the Youth Policy Workshop. TSU students and young scientists presented the first results in four areas that will help develop and implement new ideas in the field of youth policy at the university, regional and national levels. The workshop began its work this spring under the guidance of Antony Schwindt, Deputy Head of the Secretariat of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.

Antony Schwindt gave a visionary lecture on the goals and objectives of the project at the opening of the Workshop.

- Today, there are three Youth Policy Workshops in Russia: Higher School of Economics, Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, and Tomsk State University. TSU was the first non-metropolitan university to open such a workshop, said Antony Schwindt. - Currently, in accordance with the order of the President of the Russian Federation, the country ensures a national Education Development Strategy. Youth policy is closely connected with educational activities, which is an important part of the educational process. A large number of actors are involved in the implementation of youth policy today, each of which has its own tools. It is necessary to harmonize these tools to ensure effective joint work aimed at the national development goals set by the President of Russia.

For this reason, it is always a great pleasure to organize youth teams and work with them, said Vitaly Kashpur. - Today we will show preliminary results, because the topics are really broad and are aimed at a long-term perspective. It is very important for the teams to get quality feedback from experts in order to continue their work.

She was a member of the team of developers of the Youth Policy Strategy in the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030 from Tomsk State University.

There are other teams such as the Youth Policy Ecosystem Management Model, Sociology of Youth, the Meanings of Youth Policy.
