Young Rock sequel returning to Australia

Dwayne Johnson's Young Rock is the latest international series to be drawn back to Australia with $6.3 million in funding from the Australian Government's highly successful $540 million Location Incentive.

Following a successful first season filmed here in Australia, the sequel of the comedy series will continue the actor and former pro wrestler's story as he grows through life.

The production is expected to inject more than $47 million into the Australia economy, provide work for more than 300 Australian cast and crew, and around 200 Australian businesses.

To date, the Government has distributed more than $256 million under the Location Incentive to attract 27 international productions to Australia.
