Budding poets and authors have until the end of May to try their hand in Mosman Youth Awards in Literature.
The annual prose and poetry competition run by Mosman Library Service attracts entries from primary and secondary school students competing for a share in the $2,000 prize pool.
Winners of the prizes, sponsored by Lions Club of Mosman, Rotary Club of Mosman, Northern Beaches & Mosman College, Oracle Books Mosman and Constant Reader Bookshop, will be announced at a presentation on Wednesday 25 August at 6.30pm at Barry O'Keefe Library, 605 Military Road, Mosman.
