Youths charged with damaging school, SA

Four youths will be facing court in May after being charged with serious criminal trespass and property damage at a southern suburbs school, according to SA Police.

Between 3am and 4am on Saturday morning (18 March) offenders gained entry to various rooms at a school on Seacombe Rd at Seacombe Heights and it will be alleged they caused an extensive amount of property damage.

Following investigations, Sturt Local Service Area police arrested four youths – three 17-year-olds from Port Noarlunga, Dover Gardens and Oodnadatta and a 16-year-old from Dover Gardens - and charged them with serious criminal trespass and property damage.

They are expected to appear in the Adelaide Youth Court on 5 May.

Sturt detectives are continuing their investigations.
