$10,000 stolen during Kew and Balwyn burglaries

Boroondara Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance following a burglary in Kew in June, then a burglary in Balwyn in July.

It is understood a woman entered a closed business on High Street in Kew and stole a set of keys about 10pm on Saturday, 25 June.

It is believed the same woman entered a business on Whitehorse Road in Balwyn on Thursday, 21 July, where a large sum of cash was stolen.

She left the scene on foot.

Investigators have released images and CCTV of a woman who may be able to assist with their enquiries.

She is perceived to be Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance, aged in her mid-40's with black hair.
