The McGowan Government, through Development WA, will make land more affordable for 1,095 development-ready industrial, commercial and residential lots across WA, saving land buyers a combined $116 million.

Lands Minister Ben Wyatt today announced the first stage of the package in the Pilbara where the Regional Land Booster package will apply to 376 lots across nine projects, including four estates in Karratha.

At Madigan Estate in Karratha residential lots will now be available from $95,000, a saving of $24,000.

The package will be rolled out to other WA regions over the coming weeks.

The Regional Land Booster package comes in addition to the State Government's $20,000 Building Bonus Grant and the Federal Government's HomeBuilder grant.

Eligible land buyers will also be able to take advantage of up to $69,000 in grants through these State and Commonwealth grants.

"Eligible land buyers can also save themselves up to a further $69,000 through the various Government initiatives on offer, making it much more affordable than before to build a house in WA."
