Additional Logan Suburbs Qualify for Hardship Payments

More City of Logan residents will be able to access disaster payments.
Further funding is available for storm-affected City of Logan residents.

Joint Commonwealth-State funding has been extended to nine additional City of Logan suburbs impacted by this week's severe thunderstorms.

Financial assistance and support services available include emergency hardship assistance grants of up to $180 per person and $900 for a family of five or more.

Suburbs added to the list overnight are Bahrs Scrub, Eagleby, Edens Landing, Holmview, Logan Village, South Maclean, Stockleigh, Wolffdene and Woodridge.

Logan City Council has welcomed the extension of the list which brings the number of eligible suburbs in the City of Logan to 23.

The Personal Hardship Assistance Grants are funded as part of joint Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.
