Ag Show Grants 2025-26 Applications Now Open

Applications are now open for the Agricultural Show Development Grants Program 2025-26, supporting the continued operation of Tasmania's annual agricultural shows.

As part of the 2024 State Election, the Tasmanian Government committed $500,000 over three years to the program to support agricultural shows across the state.

For the 2025-26 round, a total funding pool of $147,000 is available, with grants of up to $20,000 for eligible show societies that deliver annual agricultural shows in Tasmania.

Minister for Primary Industries and Water, Gavin Pearce, said our Liberal Government is delivering for regional communities across Tasmania.

"Agricultural shows are a proud tradition in many of our regional communities, bringing people together to celebrate Tasmania's agricultural sector," Minister Pearce said.

"I encourage all eligible show societies to apply and make use of this important grants program."

Minister for Community and Multicultural Affairs Madeleine Ogilvie said supporting our agricultural shows through the grants program was another way in which the Government was providing for our regional communities, ensuring much loved events can continue and grow.

Funded through Community Services, the grants program will allow show societies to maintain and improve infrastructure, governance and organisational capability.

Applications are open until 2pm on 23 April 2026, with applicants to be notified of outcomes in May 2026.
