The Albanese Labor Government is helping talented artists share their gifts to the world through the International Cultural Diplomacy Arts Fund.
Three recipients will receive funding for arts and cultural projects that enhance Australia's international reputation:
- Australian Youth Orchestra - to support its performance at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York in the United States, marking the opening of a permanent First Nations Australian art gallery.
- Back to Back Theatre - to support its performances at the 2026 Festival d'Automne in Paris as the first Australian company to be featured as a Portrait Artist at this festival.
- The Australian Ballet - to support its tour to Berkely, California and New York City in the United States where it will premiere new work by Australian choreographer, Stephanie Lake.
Minister for the Arts, Tony Burke, said Australian arts deserved its place on the world stage.
"The calibre of artists training and working in Australia is up there with some of the best in the world.
"This funding platforms our talent to the world, allowing the international community to discover what Australia's arts landscape has to offer."
