About The Study: Researchers examined whether the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2), the reference standard measure of autism spectrum disorder, is systematically biased across race and sex. The findings suggest that the ADOS-2 doesn't have widespread systematic measurement bias across race or sex. However, the findings raise some concerns around underdetection that warrant further research.
