Another Week, Still No Labor Costings

Liberal Tasmania
  • Michael Ferguson Deputy Premier, Treasurer, Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, Minister for Planning, Member for Bass
  • At the end of the second week of the election campaign and still not one of Labor's policies has been officially costed.

    For the record:

    Liberal policies reviewed and posted on the official Treasury website: 10

    Labor policies reviewed and posted on the official Treasury website: 0

    So, we still don't know how Labor plans to pay for its promises.

    We also don't know what's happened to Labor's flagship 'Tasmanian Power Company' policy which disappeared after just two days.

    Other things we don't know:

    • Where Ms White stands on UTAS;
    • Where Ms White stands on the stadium;
    • Where Ms White stands on protecting forestry jobs; and
    • Even one policy from any one of Jacqui Lambie's corflute candidates.

    Only a re-elected majority Liberal Government with its 2030 Strong Plan for Tasmania's future can deliver the stability and certainty Tasmania needs.
