Appeal to ID man wanted after two stabbed - Carnes Hill

Police have released CCTV vision as they search for a man after two people were stabbed at a shopping centre in Sydney's south-west last month.

The incident occurred about 6.30pm on Saturday 10 October 2020 when there was an argument outside a Carnes Hill complex involving the man and three other men.

The incident became physical when an 18-year-old man was stabbed twice in his torso and chest, while a 20-year-old man was stabbed in the stomach.

They were taken to Liverpool Hospital for treatment and have since been released.

Officers from Liverpool City Police Area Command have gathered forensic material from the scene; however, are seeking assistance from the public to help identify the man involved.

Police have released a description of a man they believe can assist with their inquiries.

He is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 170cm-175cm tall, of medium build, with black hair and a beard.

At the time the man was wearing a red cap, yellow 'CAVS' basketball singlet, grey shorts, and black and white runners.
