As stated by Premier and Tourism, Trade and Investment Minister Roger Cook:
"Motorsport fans should mark their calendars for 6 August 2027 and get ready for a sporting spectacle because the Perth Super440 is taking over Wanneroo Raceway for the last time and it's not an event to miss.
"After last year's epic success and mammoth attendance, we're expecting another huge year with thousands of out-of-state visitors before the event moves to its new home at Perth Park.
"Major events like this are an important part of my government's economic diversification strategy as they provide a major boost to the tourism sector, create vibrancy, and support local jobs and businesses."
As stated by the Sport and Recreation Minister Rita Saffioti:
"The Perth Super440 is a highlight of WA's events calendar, and next year will be a special opportunity as fans farewell Supercars racing at Wanneroo.
"With a full weekend of racing and entertainment, there's plenty for dedicated motorsport fans and families to enjoy, and every reason for interstate visitors to make the trip to Perth.
"The incredible turnout this year shows the demand for world-class motorsport in WA, and we're excited to welcome Supercars to Perth Park in 2028."
