Police have released images of two men and a woman they believe can assist as an investigation continues into the alleged stabbing of two men in Sydney's west last month.
Police have been told two men – aged 49 and 35 – were approached by a group of men on Main Street, Blacktown, just after midnight on Saturday 28 January 2023, before a fight broke out, resulting in the two men being stabbed.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the older man for a stab wound to the neck. The younger man was treated for a stab wound to the back.
They were both taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
Police were notified with officers attached to Blacktown City Police Area Command commencing an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
As inquiries continue, investigators have released images of two men and a woman they believe will be able to assist them.
The first man depicted is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, believed to be aged in his mid-20s, of solid build, about 185cm tall, with black hair in a man bun.
He is shown to be wearing all black clothing with a red shirt underneath a jumper and white runners.
The second man depicted is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, believed to also be aged in his mid-20s, of solid build, about 185cm tall.
He is shown to be wearing black jeans, a black t-shirt with print on the front, black beanie, white runners and a black side bag.
The woman depicted is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, believed to be aged in her mid- 20's, of solid build, about 175cm tall with dark hair.
She is shown to be wearing black tights, a pink hoodie and pink slides.
