A new campaign and refreshed website showcase over 250 fee free and low fee TAFE courses as a pathway to impactful careers in priority WA industries.

Applications for more than 250 fee free and low fee TAFE courses are open, offering a pathway to job opportunities across priority industries.

To support the application process and raise awareness of the courses, a new campaign and refreshed website have been launched.

The 'You can make it here' campaign highlights a number of fee free and low fee courses on offer across industries, including construction, manufacturing and the care sectors, showcasing how TAFE qualifications can lead to meaningful work to shape WA's future.

Featuring previous and current students working or training for roles on major WA projects, the campaign highlights opportunities from building affordable housing, to powering renewable energy infrastructure, manufacturing defence patrol vessels, as well as helping people when they need it most such as a nurse or as a childcare, aged care, or community worker.

The TAFE WA website has been expanded to include a comprehensive fee free and low fee course finder and dedicated pages showcasing high impact careers and opportunities in:

  • Building and Construction
  • Clean Energy
  • Advanced Manufacturing
  • Essential Care

TAFE Admissions will be open to receive Semester 1, 2026 applications until 6 February 2026, with the deadline for competitive courses extended to 14 November 2025 so those interested have more time to apply.

Explore fee free and low fee courses at tafe.wa.edu.au or contact your local TAFE, or Jobs and Skills Centre on 13 64 64.
