Applications set to open for Bock Rock enhancement fund

Community groups will soon be able to apply for the latest round of funding through the Boco Rock Community Enhancement Fund.

Organisations in the former Bombala and Cooma-Monaro local government areas can submit their funding applications from 9am Monday 15 June.

This is an exciting opportunity for groups in these areas to obtain funding for projects or events that will benefit the community. You may apply for either full funding or co-funding for your project.

The Boco Rock Community Enhancement Fund Committee was established as a result of the development approval through the NSW Government Department of Planning. Expenditure by the Committee is specifically restricted to the former Cooma Monaro and former Bombala Local Government Areas as a condition of the development approval.

The fund seeks to deliver community wide benefits. Funding guidelines and application packs will be available from Council's offices in Bombala and Cooma and on Council's website.

To assist potential applicants, information sessions will be held via Zoom to explain the application process. Details of these sessions will be released once applications open.

Alternatively, should you have any questions regarding the Boco Rock Wind Farm Community Enhancement Fund, contact the Governance Team on 1300 345 345 or email [email protected].

Applications will be accepted from 9am Monday 15 June and close 5pm Friday 24 July 2020.
