Armed robbery appeal, Caboolture South

Police are appealing for public assistance in relation to an armed robbery at a Caboolture South business last week.

At approximately 4.00pm on Friday November 18, a man attended a tobacconist on Morayfield Road armed with an axe.

He threatened an employee and a customer before demanding money from the till.

The employee complied, before the man fled the scene on foot towards a railway line underneath Market Drive.

No one was injured in the incident.

Police have released vision of a man who may be able to assist with investigations.

He's described as Caucasian and was wearing a blue hoodie, black Adidas pants, a dark grey cap, sunglasses and a black face mask.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.
