Armed Robbery Appeal, Stones Corner

Police are investigating an armed robbery at a business in Stones Corner this afternoon, June 5.

Initial investigations indicate that around 3.10pm, two people entered a convenience store on Logan Road wearing motorcycle helmets and face coverings.

It will be alleged one of the offenders produced a firearm and threatened staff before demanding cash.

The pair allegedly stole a quantity of cash and merchandise before leaving the scene and fleeing on a motorcycle.

No physical injuries were reported.

Investigations indicate the motorcycle involved, a yellow Suzuki motorcycle, had been stolen from Anne Street in Brisbane City on May 28.

Detectives are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have relevant CCTV, dashcam or mobile phone footage of the motorcycle in the Brisbane City or Stones Corner areas, to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
