Sex Assault Squad detectives have charged a 28-year-old man as a result of their extensive investigation into a sexual assault that occurred in Mullaloo on 24 December 2018.
It will be alleged around 5am, a woman in her 40s was walking along the shared pathway adjacent to Mullaloo Beach and approximately 300 metres north of Mullaloo Beach (North) car park the man who was naked, grabbed her from behind and dragged her to the ground and sexually assaulted her.
The 28-year-old man from Eglington has been charged with Sexual Penetration without Consent. He is due to appear before the Joondalup Magistrates Court today, 21 February 2019.
