Discover the joy of drawing, painting, and creative exploration in a unique art and nature workshop with exhibiting artist and experienced teacher Rochelle Summerfield. Taking place on Saturday 9 August, this 3-hour session at the Slim Dusty Centre in South Kempsey invites participants to slow down and connect with the natural world through artistic expression.
Currently exhibiting at the Nulla Nulla Regional Gallery, Rochelle brings over 30 years of artistic and teaching experience. Her workshops are grounded in her deep connection to the landscape—inviting participants to explore texture, shadow, and shape through playful, process-based art-making.
What to Expect:
- Learn textural drawing and mark-making techniques
- Create your own process journal and final artwork using professional-quality materials
- Work with graphite, charcoal, ArtGraf, and gouache paints
- Enjoy a relaxed, supportive environment—perfect for beginners and experienced creatives alike
