UC Davis
The UC Davis Asthma Network (UCAN™) is hosting a bootcamp to educate patients on strategies to control their asthma and recognize the contributions of non-paid caregivers. These include parents, siblings, spouses and best friends focused on the health care and safety of patients young and old.
The bootcamp is a free event for asthma patients 12 years and older and their parents or caregivers. Attendees will learn about asthma control and treatment plans and receive inhaler training.
UCAN™ Bootcamp instructors include:
- Sara Abu-Nasser, assistant clinical professor of pediatric pulmonology
- Samuel Louie, professor emeritus of Internal Medicine and past director of UCAN™
- Anh P. Nguyen, health sciences assistant clinical professor of pediatric allergy
- Celeste C. Payne, prior authorization specialist
