AU Barcelona Launches Workspace for Early Stage Researchers

Starting this July, the Doctoral School has opened a new workspace available to all its doctoral students.

Imatge del nou espai de l'Escola

This new space is located on the second floor of building U (Doctoral and Postgraduate School) and is equipped with the necessary furniture to work with laptops. It also has a corner with a sofa for networking.

The space, which will open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., is especially designed for the use and enjoyment of early stage researchers and aims to be a meeting point where doctoral students from different disciplines can be in contact and network. To use it, at least for the time being, no reservation is needed. However, the space will be closed during August.

This initiative is part of the commitment to facilitate informal meeting spaces between younger research staff.
