Just before 3pm, Police and Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) were advised of a fire burning in bushland off Aubin Grove Link and Lyon Road.
The fire burnt approximately 20 hectares of vegetation and threatened nearby homes. DFES were able to extinguish the fire before any property was damaged.
The cause of the fire is being investigated and specialist Arson Squad officers are urging anyone with any information relating to this fire to contact Crime Stoppers online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au or by phone on 1800 333 000.

Rewards of up to $25,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
