From June, you may start to see a mix of bin colours on your street. Council will be changing the colour of residential bins and lids to Australian Standard colours to conform with the requirements of Recycling Victoria: A New Economy, the Victorian government's waste and recycling policy.
We will be tackling this large project progressively over 2022 and 2023, and will start by updating bins and lids with the new colours for any resident requesting a new service, a bin replacement or a significant repair for the food and green waste service.

The old bins will be recycled so that they are given a new life. Collection frequency will not change as a result of this transition.
