Author Talk With Best-selling Author Tricia Stringer

Tricia Stringer

Swan Hill Regional Library is elated to host award winning and best-selling author Tricia Stringer to speak on the release of her new novel "Paradise Resort".

Libraries Manager Camille Cullinan said the author talk, taking place on Tuesday 10 November at 6pm, was a unique chance to hear from the author as she shares the inspirations behind her latest novel and provides insights into her writing journey.

"Set in WA's Kimberly Region, Stringer's new novel follows the manager and staff of a luxurious resort as they attempt to put things right and save their community before it's too late.

"Stringer, who lives in the Copper Coast Region in South Australia, grew up on a farm in South Australia and has spent most of her life in rural communities.

"Beginning her writing career motivated by a desire to write stories for children that bring local history to life, Stringer has since transitioned to writing for adult audiences."

She previously won the Romance Writers of Australia Romantic Book of the year award in 2013 and had multiple novels shortlisted for the award in the following years.

Known for previous titles such as 'The Family Inheritance' and 'The Road Trip', Tricia's warm storytelling and memorable characters have made her a favourite among readers of Australian contemporary fiction.

During the event, attendees will also have the chance to purchase books, as well as have books signed by the author, with cash and EFTPOS facilities available.
